If you don't have the budget or time to let your child makeover her own room, give her the next best thing: One fun resource for online room makeovers is agame.com, but there are other resources online as well. This is a fun Internet activity and may give you and your child some ideas on things you can do to liven up her real room. Also, it may get that "purple walls" idea out of her system when she sees what it looks like on the computer screen.
Instructions
1. Choose a site to use. Several sites offer free room makeover tools, but the easiest choice is one that does not involve registering for the site. Agame.com offers a simple room makeover game that loads quickly and is free!
2. Load the website and wait for any advertisements to run. To click out of ads early, look for an instruction that says "skip ad and go directly to game." If you do not see that option, wait for any ads or commercials to run.
3. Click on "Play" for basic instructions. The basic premise of the game is that you must click on different options--window treatments, paint colors, furniture pieces--and drag them to the area where you'd like to place them.
4. Decorate your online room to your heart's content. If you are unhappy with the wall color you've chosen or you want to change your comforter color- make modifications.
5. Click on the printer icon at the bottom of the screen to make a color printout of your completed room, or print the room you've created as a coloring book page.
