Redesign Your Bathrooms On A Tight Budget

Fresh color on walls makes a big impact in the bathroom.

Redesign a drab bathroom on a budget by tapping into the power of color and accessories. Shower the room with color, when the budget is drained of money for moving walls, modern vanities and decorator tile. If there's a little left when you're done refreshing the bathroom, splurge on new lighting to make the bathroom seem bigger and even brighter.

Instructions

1. Spread your redesign dollars across the bathroom with a coat of washable paint. Choose your mood then your color: bright and breezy, calm and natural or dark and majestic.

2. Change bathroom fixtures and accessories such as towel racks and toilet paper dispensers as well as soap dispensers and door knobs to rejuvenate the space. Replace dated bronze fixtures with brushed nickel for a big update.

3. Get rid of your grungy shower curtain. Hang a vibrant white curtain on modern rings. Replace floor mats to cover old or worn tiles. Select mats that tie the colors of the bathroom together.
