Fake blood makes your photo scary!
Are you a zombie or vampire fan? You can add a wonderful horror effect to any digital photo by creating a little fake blood using Photoshop.
Instructions
1. Click Layer and select New Layer with your digital photo open.
2. Select the lasso tool and use it to draw a selection in the shape of a blood drop or splatter.
3. Fill the selection with some color using the paint bucket. The color you choose does not matter at this point.
4. Go to Window and put a check mark next to Styles. This will bring up your Styles palette.
5. Choose the Red Gel with Drop Shadow style. If this style is not already on your palette, you can load it by clicking the arrow in your upper right corner of the styles palette. This brings up a menu. Choose Web Styles.
6. Look at your Layers palette. You will see the effects listed under your blood layer. Click the effect that says Color Overlay. This brings up a dialog box, which will have a red rectangle on it. Double click the rectangle, and choose a darker color of red.
7. Shade the blood by making a new layer, and painting with a medium gray where any shadows would go. Change the blending mode on your layers palette from Normal to Multiply.
