Make Glow At Nighttime Rocks

Glow-in-the-dark rocks are a sound alternative to traditional electrical lighting systems and they can be used to light driveways, sidewalks and gardens. The rocks charge for free, with the UV rays from the sun during the day and provide a nice glow in the evenings. There are glow-in-the-dark pigments that are weatherproof and formulated to provide a long lasting, bright glow without the green daytime color of years past. You can make glow-in-the-dark rocks that blend with any landscaping design.

Instructions

1. Lay your rocks on newspapers to protect your work surface.

2. Brush all of the loose dirt and dust from the rocks with a dry paintbrush.

3. Paint two light coats of glow-in-the-dark paint on the surface of your rocks. Allowing the first coat to dry before applying the second and the second coat to dry before moving the rocks back to their intended location.
