Using design software can make the process of designing or remodeling a room much simpler, and also help you visualize what it will look like. HGTV offers a software program for the purpose of helping you design rooms easily. With this software, you can upload pictures of your own rooms and then make changes on the program. You can add new flooring, paint and put up new drapes without actually doing the work.
Instructions
1. Open the HGTV design software on your computer.
2. Locate the Photo Board Wizard in the menu of the software and open it.
3. Click on the "Browse" function in the Photo Board Wizard. A menu opens.
4. Navigate to the appropriate location on your computer to find the photo that you want to upload. For example, if your pictures are in the "My Photos" folder on your computer, click on that folder and then select the picture that you want to upload.
5. Upload the picture that you've selected. Wait for the picture to show up in the software. Once the photo is in the software, you have the ability to make material changes to the room. For instance, you could change the wall coverings and make many other alterations to see what the room will look like.
