Create A Fresh paint Sprayer Gun

A paint sprayer gun works better than a brush.

Painting a wall or any large surface with a brush opens the door to an uneven application of paint. A paint spray gun will provide a coat of paint to the surface in a more even pattern and with less dripping compared to a brush. You can make your own paint sprayer gun from a few hardware parts and some tools found in most households. You do not need experience in mechanical engineering to make a paint spray gun, but those who are underage should not make it without adult supervision.

Instructions

1. Cover a table with newspaper. Put the lid of the quart glass jar down on the newspaper with the inner side facing up. Insert the tip of the utility knife beneath the cardboard inside of the lid. Wiggle the cardboard free. Remove the cardboard from out of the lid.

2. Drill a hole in the center of the lid with the portable drill.

3. Put the Teflon sheet on the newspaper. Place the cardboard down on the sheet. Draw around the cardboard with the pencil.

4. Cut out the drawing on the Teflon sheet with the utility knife. Apply white glue to one side.

5. Insert the cut out piece of Teflon sheet glue side first into the lid of the quart glass jar in place of the cardboard that was removed.

6. Place the tube end of the pipe tubing adapter over the nozzle of the air blow gun. Apply bonding glue around the seam. Let the bonding glue set for a day.

7. Slip the compression spring over the pipe end of the pipe tubing adapter.

8. Insert the brass tube into the hole in the lid with the top of the lid facing up. Slip a washer over the brass tube from the bottom. Screw a lug nut onto the brass rube from the bottom.

9. Slip the pipe end of the pipe tubing adapter into the brass rod. Apply bonding glue around the seam. Let the bonding glue set for a day.
