Classic


The best ideas for decorating a beach house in a classic style is to simply incorporate decorations that make you think of the sea. Painting the rooms in cool blues and greens with white contrasts (in moldings and furniture) will help carry this theme throughout your home. Wicker furniture adds to the beachy feel, as well as custom built pieces made of material such as drift wood. Collections of seashells and sea glass picked up on your walks along the sand, housed in decorative containers and baskets, give your space a personal feel. If you want a romantic setting that incorporates the traditional ideas for decorating a beach house, the trick is to change the artwork and how you display your beachy decor. Prints and paintings done in black and white add a mysterious feel to your rooms. Choose your colors from there and add sea glass or seashells that coincide with the hues you have chosen.
