Awesome Vehicle Fresh paint Schemes For Primary Colors

Add other primary colors to your red car.

Driving down the road, most cars blend in with one another, looking similar with monotone paint schemes. You may decide to be different and drive a car that stands out and gets noticed. A cool paint scheme that involves primary colors may be the way to go. Custom car paint schemes show off your personality and command attention. If you don't have experience with auto painting, it's best to find a professional to complete the job as a botched paint job can be expensive to fix.

Logo

A number of cartoon characters and super heroes have logos of primary colors. Paint your car blue and add the Superman symbol to the hood, which is red and yellow. Mighty Mouse is known for his red and yellow outfit. If you're a huge fan of Warner Brothers, its logo is blue and yellow.

Inspiration

When looking for paint ideas, the staff of "Sport Truck" magazine suggests looking for inspiration in miniature toy cars, which often have elaborate paint designs. While it may seem strange at the time, browse the car aisle at your local toy store, searching for cars with cool blue, yellow and red paint designs.

Flames

Flames painted down the side of a car are a cool classic paint scheme found on cars like hot rods. The primary colors of red and yellow can form bright colored strips of fire along your doors. You can take it to the next level by adding the flames to your roof, hood and trunk, instead of just the sides.

One Color

It's not necessary to use all three of the primary colors to get a cool paint scheme for your car. Choose red, blue or yellow and use different hues of one of them throughout the car. For example, you could start with a dark yellow on the hood and gradually fade to a lighter yellow the farther back you go on the car.

Checker Board

For a truly distinctive paint scheme on your car, go for a checker-board pattern of blue, red and yellow that spans all visible surfaces of the car. You could go for large squares for a bold look or tiny squares to create a level of visual confusion.
