Remove Spray Fresh paint Graffiti From Brick

Spray-painted graffiti is difficult to remove from brick.

Graffiti is a unique and potentially beautiful form of art that is often used to add color and brightness to more downtrodden urban areas. However, graffiti can be frustrating for the owner of a vandalized, painted surface. It can be difficult to remove spray paint from a brick wall without damaging the wall, but you can try different products for the task. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's guidelines when using strong chemical solvents. Removing graffiti is easiest immediately after its application.

Instructions

1. Wash the spray-painted brick with a heavy-duty power washer and a mild cleanser. Move the tip of the power washer around consistently to prevent damaging the surface. Avoid leaving a permanent line on the brick by using a spray tip that is not too narrow.

2. Wash the brick with a special graffiti cleaner if the mild cleanser does not work. Apply this strong chemical cleaner with a wire brush. Rinse it off with a garden hose.

3. Sandblast the graffiti if the power washer is ineffective. Pour baking soda into the sandblaster's feed. Start the sandblaster and move the nozzle slowly across the painted surface.
