Marbleize Auto Body Fresh paint

Marbleizing your auto or motorcycle is a way to create a different look for your vehicle. Whether a vintage car or a new one that you want to customize, marbleizing is an easy, budget friendly way to create a special look.

Instructions

1. Apply primer and sealer to the car. Allow time to dry.

2. Spray a base coat on the car. Black is typically the best color to spray, but any color you choose will give you the same basic effect. Allow time for base coat to dry completely.

3. Stir marbleizer, available at a paint store or at times at the auto parts store, into a sprayer or spray paint gun.

4. Cut a few sheets of plastic wrap.

5. Spray marbleizer about 6 inches from the car. Overlap the paint as you spray. Let it dry for no more than two minutes.

6. Lay plastic sheeting onto the paint. You can also wrinkle the plastic a little to get a more drastic effect. Pull plastic off quickly so that it does not dry to the car as the paint dries. Continue around the car. Allow time to dry.

7. Apply clear coats and a top coat to create a shiny and polished look to your marbleized effect.
