You can use Microsoft Paint to color your drawings digitally. MS Paint is a basic computer program that comes with all Windows operating systems, and it allows you to upload your drawings and color them using your computer. You can also print out the colored images when you are finished. Although MS Paint can be used for basic picture editing, its main focus is coloring.
Instructions
1. Click the "Start" button and position the mouse over "All Programs," then "Accessories." Click on "Paint" to open the MS Paint program.
2. Click the "File" tab located in the top-left corner of the screen and select "Open" from the drop-down menu. Select the file of the drawing you want to color and click "Open" to display the picture on the digital canvas.
3. Choose your coloring tool, such as the pencil, paintbrush or spray-paint tool. The Pencil tool creates a thin line, the paintbrush tool is thicker, and the spray-paint tool colors a blotchy, circular area. Select the color you want to use on the picture. You can switch tools and colors throughout the coloring process.
4. Click the "File" tab at the top-left corner of the screen and select "Save As" from the drop-down menu. Name your file and click "Save."
5. Turn your printer on. Click the "File" tab and select the "Print" option from the drop-down menu, then click the "Print" button on the menu that appears.
