You may need to cover up stains from past residents in your mobile home.
If you are looking to spruce up the interior of your mobile home you may want to simply start with applying a fresh color of paint. Changing the color of a room greatly adjusts the way individuals perceive the room; it can give the feeling of a brand new home. Painting a room inside a mobile home is no different than painting a room inside any other home or apartment; so with a little bit of time and elbow grease you can revitalize rooms in your mobile home.
Instructions
1. Move all of the furniture into the middle of the room or out altogether. This reduces the chance of spilling paint onto the items. Cover the furniture with splash cloths to further protect the products. Open all the windows and doors of the mobile home to circulate the air. This helps dry the room faster and prevents the fumes of the paint from affecting you and giving you a headache.
2. Tape off the edges of the walls with the painters tape. This prevents paint from dripping or running onto unwanted areas.
3. Dip your edger into the primer and run the edger along the corners and wall edges. This applies the primer without running it onto the ceiling.
4. Paint the rest of the wall with your paint brush. Apply evenly. Once you have applied the first coat let it dry for a few hours.
5. Repeat the process, using your paint instead of primer. Once you have applied the first coat, wait several hours before you apply the second coat. Wait overnight to allow the second coat to dry, then remove the tape from the walls. Place the furniture back into position.
