Unblur With Fresh paint 7

Paint Shop Pro 7 and later editions feature a wide variety of features that make it possible to create stunning visual effects for your photos. One of the more common tasks for both casual and professional photographers alike is the need to unblur with Paint 7. This is accomplished by using the "Unsharp Mask" and adjusting the settings to achieve the desired sharpness. The process is very straightforward. However, it may take you a little while to find the acceptable settings for your particular photo.

Instructions

1. Launch Paint Shop Pro 7 from the desktop shortcut or Start menu.

2. Press "Ctrl" and "O" and browse to the photo you wish to unblur. Double-click on the file to open it in Paint Shop Pro.

3. Click "Layer" and "Duplicate" to create the work layer for the Unsharp Mask.

4. Click "Adjust," "Sharpness" and "Unsharp Mask" to open the options dialogue box.

5. Adjust the "Radius," "Strength" and "Clipping" of the mask according to how much you wish to unblur your photo. The exact settings vary depending on the size and quality of your particular photo. The dialogue window shows a live preview to help you determine the proper settings. Apply a radius between 2 and 3 pixels with a strength of 100. Set the clipping to 10. Adjust each individually until you achieve the desired results.

6. Click "OK" to apply the settings.

7. Adjust the opacity slider bar of the Unsharp Mask layer until you achieve the ideal sharpness. The slider bar is located directly above the layers panel. In general, a layer opacity of between 60 and 70 percent works best.

8. Click "Layers," "Merge" and "Merge All Flatten" to create the final image.
