Experiment with paint colors for each room of the house.
Porter Paints offers a variety of colors that can complement any room. Choose matte paints for large expanses of dark colors to help cover blemishes, and select semi-gloss or glossy paint for light and bright colors. Mix and match paint colors for the best results.
Kitchen
Increase the natural feeling of the kitchen with colors reminiscent of flowers, bees and honey. Paint the walls in a luxurious golden honey color to stimulate the appetite, using Porter Paint 216-5. Give inner window sills a jolt of warm sunshine yellow with Porter Paint 117-5. Add a pretty trim color using the woodsy green of Porter Paint 313-6.
Dining Room
A dining room can never be styled wrong with a splash of vibrant burgundy. Color the door of the room with Porter Paint 330-7, a rich burgundy color indeed. If there's no door, opt for an accent wall instead, and trim the windows out with the same color. Paint walls with the palest pinkish hue ever, Porter Paint 314-3, with creamy white, Porter Paint 117-2 on baseboards and crown molding.
Living Room
Fill a living room with light and airy colors to give a sense of openness. Combined with natural wood or stone floors, the organic colors will be luminous. Choose Porter Paint 310-4, an earthy sage green for an accent wall to draw attention into the room. Use the mellow green tinted beige of Porter Paint 210-3 for the remaining walls. Window sills and trim pieces can benefit from the creamy pale pink of Porter Paint 113-2.
Bathroom
Bring nature inside the bathroom with the rich, organic colors of stone, leather and wood. Feature an accent wall in the luxurious dark gray charcoal of Porter Paint 530-7. If an accent wall is frightening, try outlining the inner window sills with the same color. Paint the walls with a camel slate color, such as Porter Paint 314-2 or 315-5, completing the trim with the smooth chocolate Porter Paint 316-7.
Bedroom
Combine a room full of blues for a relaxing evening getaway in the bedroom. Paint walls a decadent matte blue with Porter Paint 447-5, and outline trim and inner window sills with its navy counterpart, Porter Paint 447-7. Add a splash of sheer blue color to the ceiling with either Porter Paint 547-2 or 348-2 for a finished look.
