Make Use Of A Small Wagner Energy Sprayer For Wholehouse Painting

The Project Sprayer and Power Painter are two of Wagner's smaller power sprayers that can be used to paint an entire house's interiors and exteriors. These electrical sprayers, like other power sprayers, offer high speed paint delivery in order to cover a large surface in a short amount of time. For smaller areas in a home, such as window and wall trim, small painters are still viable and provide a clean and even application of paint over the entire surface.

Instructions

1. Prepare the area of the house you wish to paint by moving furniture out of the room and placing drop cloth on the floor. Clean the walls, window frames and other molding to remove dust and anything else that inhibits paint adhesion.

2. Tape off the glass of windows, outlets and switches and whatever else you don't want covered in paint.

3. Put together your Wagner power sprayer if you haven't used it before. Twist the gun onto the turbine until the two "lock" symbols on each match up. Insert the suction tube into the intake valve on the sprayer's gun and pour your paint into the reservoir cup that attaches to the intake valve. Plug in your power sprayer.

4. Put on your eye protection and mask. Point the gun perpendicular to the surface you wish to paint and 1 inch away. Spray paint onto the surface and check whether too much paint is coming out of the spray nozzle and dripping down the wall. If it is, adjust the regulator on the gun's trigger which controls the paint volume delivered by the power sprayer. Otherwise, continue spray painting the surface, always keeping the gun perpendicular and about 1 inch from the wall. In other words, move the gun with your entire body and not just your arms.

5. Apply one layer of paint to the surface and move on to another area. Return to the original area after the paint has dried to check whether another layer needs to be added, and, if so, spray on another layer of paint. Continue in this way until the entire house is painted.
