The two-layer garage floor epoxy system includes a primer and a base coat. This system also typically comes with a warranty, although the color selection may not be as extensive as the three-layer system.
Single-Layer System
The least expensive garage floor paint/epoxy is the one-layer system. This system, because it is comprised of only an epoxy floor covering, does not come with an extensive warranty, and may not be available in many colors. It may also not stand up to wear and tear as well as the premium garage floor epoxy systems.
